Texas Alliance Volleyball
2010-2011 was a huge success in our inaugural club campaign. Texas Alliance Volleyball established itself among the top tier of the clubs in the state by winning numerous championships in tournaments both locally and across the nation. Our 17 & 18 year old team finished the season with a trip to the AAU National Championships and finished 5th & 9th overall, respectively. There are only ten National Qualifier tournaments to earn bids to USA Volleyball Junior National sand they are held throughout the year all across the country. Our 16 year old team established itself as one of the best teams in the nation by winning two Championships at both the Big South National Qualifier in Atlanta and the Lone Star National Qualifier in Dallas. We have emphasized a “family atmosphere†in everything we have done and it is really paying off dividends by keeping our club chemistry extremely close.
2011-2012 intends to be another banner year for Texas Alliance Volleyball. We have added new “family members†by expanding from 9 teams to 13 teams in just our second year and have improved our caliber of athletes across every age group. We have added some of the best coaches in the Houston area to what was already an impressive coaching staff. Our summer camps were extremely successful and our reputation in the volleyball community continues to grow. We have many fantastic events going on all year long like volunteer/community outreach programs to teach our players more than just the sport of volleyball. Sofar our teams have had impressive showings in their first tournaments of the year and things are looking great for the rest of the season.
